How to Fit a Senses Splashback
Prepare the wall
Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, flat and sound. Remove any loose paint or tiles. Fill any gaps or uneven areas.
Cut to size
Measure and cut the panel on site using a fine-tooth saw or jigsaw. Always cut from the back face (face down). Use a router for hob cutouts.
Apply adhesive
Apply a continuous bead of compatible high-grab splashback adhesive to the back of the panel in a zigzag pattern, 25mm from all edges.
Fix and finish
Press firmly to the wall and hold in place. Use colour-matched sealant at all joints and edges. Allow 24 hours before any contact with water.

Not Covered
- Water damage from incorrectly sealed joints or profiles
- Damage from abrasive or solvent-based cleaners
- Impact damage, scratches or accidental damage
- Panels installed without approved adhesives or sealants
- Commercial use without specific commercial warranty agreement
To Keep Your Guarantee Valid
Seal all joints & profiles
All joints, trims and profiles must be sealed with Rearo's colour-matched silicone sealant to form a fully waterproof system.
Use approved adhesives
Apply a high-grab panel adhesive around the perimeter and in a 300mm grid pattern on the back of each panel, as specified in the installation guide.
Correct panel positioning
Panels must be fitted just above the shower tray or bath edge — not into the water line — to prevent water ingress at the base.
Clean with mild detergent
Clean panels with warm water and a mild detergent. Abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or solvent-based products will damage the surface and void the guarantee.
Follow the installation guide
Panels must be installed strictly in accordance with Rearo's official installation guide. Incorrect installation will invalidate the guarantee.
Domestic installations only
The 10-year guarantee applies to residential installations. Commercial use may carry different warranty terms — contact us for details.
