Every Rearo Senses worktop is backed by a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee — covering manufacturing defects including delamination, blistering and surface failure.
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects — delamination, blistering, cracking
- Surface failure under normal domestic use
- Structural integrity of the substrate
- Colour consistency within the same batch
Not Covered
- Damage from direct heat (hot pans placed without trivets)
- Scratches from cutting directly on the surface
- Water damage from unsealed cut edges or joints
- Damage from abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals
- Accidental damage or misuse
To Keep Your Guarantee Valid
Seal all cut edges
All cut edges must be sealed with a water-resistant silicone sealant to prevent moisture ingress and maintain the guarantee.
Use trivets for hot pans
Always place hot pans on trivets or heat mats. Direct heat contact can damage the laminate surface and will invalidate the guarantee.
Use a chopping board
Cut food on a chopping board — cutting directly on the surface will scratch the high-gloss finish and is not covered under guarantee.
Wipe away excess water
Wipe away standing water promptly, especially around joints and cut-outs. The substrate is moisture-resistant, not waterproof.
Use mild cleaners only
Clean with a damp cloth and mild non-abrasive detergent. Abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners will dull the gloss and void the guarantee.
Follow installation guidelines
Worktops must be installed following Rearo's official installation guide. Incorrect fitting will invalidate the manufacturer's guarantee.
