Rearo Selkie is Rearo's flagship laminate wall panel — produced independently in-house for over 20 years. With 30+ décors spanning gloss, matte, and textured finishes, built-in antibacterial properties as standard, and a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee, Selkie is one of the most widely specified HPL wet wall panel systems in the UK.
Selkie panels are constructed from a Moisture-Resistant MDF core with a High Pressure Laminate (HPL) decorative face — available in Square Edge and Tongue & Groove formats at 2420 × 1200 × 11mm. The antibacterial properties are built into the HPL surface as standard across the full range, achieving EN 1276:2009 testing to ensure the product prevents the growth of Staphylococcus Aureus and Escherichia Coli.
The décor range is one of the most comprehensive in the HPL panel market — spanning clean whites (German Chalk, Ivory Sky, Oatmeal Matte, Premium White Gloss, Cotton), marble effects (Calacatta Marble, Palazzo, Sicilian Marble, Tempest Marble), stone effects (Gransasso, Persian Grey, Pebble Stone, Cairn Stone, Egyptian Sand, Linea Grey, Azores Stone, Travertine Rain), concrete (Textured Concrete), colour accents (Periwinkle, Golden Fudge, Rosewater, Sage, Zaffiro), and wood effects (Ash, Bamboo, Manitobe, Portofino).
Selkie achieves Class B-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1 fire classification — suitable for residential and commercial applications including hotels, housing associations, student accommodation, care homes, and leisure facilities. The 2m height panels allow Selkie to be used across a wider range of wall lining applications beyond standard shower enclosures.
A comprehensive trims range is available including H-joints, external corners, internal corners, end caps, and floor channels — all in matching finishes. Colour-matched sealant is available in White, Light Grey, Black, Anthracite, and Ivory. Physical samples of any Selkie décor are available on request from our trade team.
